Activity
1.3
This activity is to be done in groups
This activity is designed to familiarize you with
computer components and gives you a taster of assembling a computer
system. You will be observed by your tutor during this activity who will
keep a record of good/not-good component assembly for each group.
Note: This is
not a test of your abilities, it is a learning activity. You are not
expected to assemble the system perfectly or correctly yet. However, you
must be careful and consider ESD.
-
Your task is to quickly assemble all the computer
parts together. You should use the table below to keep a record of each
device fitted. In the comments column, explain any problems you
have in deciding how that device is to be fitted, any problems actually
fitting the device and any areas of uncertainty.
